Sweepstakes Official Rules

No Purchase Necessary.

This Sweepstakes begins on 12:01 AM ET on October 2, 2006 and ends 11:59 PM ET on April 1, 2007 (“Entry Period”) when all entries must be received.

A. To Enter:

Visit http://golfdigest.peersuasion.com during the Entry Period. Fill out all required fields denoted on the registration form and click “PLAY” any time during the Entry Period. You do not have to actually play the game to be entered into the sweepsakes. Limit one entry per registration/person/email address. By providing your email address, you grant Sponsors the right to send you commercial messages and share your address with others, unless specified otherwise as indicated on the entry form.
When you complete the online registration form, you will be asked to provide the email addresses of up to five (5) of your friends. You will be automatically entered for an additional chance to win whenever you refer a friend who registers at the site during the Entry Period.
Alternately, you may mail-in a postcard between 3.5” x 5” to 4.25” x 6” with your name, address, and telephone number to the following address and you will receive six (6) entries into the sweepstakes.

B. Prizes: Total value of Sweepstakes, Approximately $3,500

One (1) grand prize winner and a guest will receive:

Round-trip coach airfare for two to Jacksonville, Florida from a major metropolitan hub nearest winner’s home in the U.S.
3-night standard accommodations at The Ameila Island Plantation (based on double-occupancy)
A round of golf for two at one of Ameila Island’s championship golf courses
A resort activity for two

Approximate Retail value: $3,000, depending on exact itinerary. May be subject to certain restrictions and blackout dates. Winner and guest must be available to travel on the same itinerary as selected by Sponsors. Ground transportation, meals, in-room charges (e.g. mini-bar, movies), telephone calls, gratuities and all other incidentals are not included. Trip must be completed by April 30, 2008.

Five (5) Runner-Ups will each receive a $100 gift card to Golfsmith (subject to certain restrictions, including expiration date).

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period. Purchase or acceptance of a product offer does not improve your chances of winning. Prizes are non-refundable and non-redeemable. All taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. No substitution or transfer of prize is permitted, except Sponsors reserve the right in its sole discretion to substitute a prize with a prize of equal or greater value.

C. Winner Selection: Potential Prize winners will be selected in a random drawing on or around April 3, 2007 from among all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. All drawings will be conducted by the Sponsors, whose decisions will be final and binding in all matters related to this Sweepstakes. Potential Winners must sign and return a standard declaration/release form or an affidavit of eligibility (including social security number), liability waiver and publicity release within ten (10) days of receipt of declaration/affidavit. If a potential winner cannot be notified, does not meet eligibility, fails to return a declaration/affidavit, or does not comply with Sweepstakes rules, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. In the event a prize winner is unable to redeem the prize due to reasons beyond their control no compensation or substitutions will be provided. All prizes will be awarded. Potential Winners will be notified by mail, e-mail or phone.

Winners agree that Sponsors shall have the right and permission to use winners’ names, pictures, likenesses and/or voice in any media for trade, advertising, promotional and/or other purpose in any media now or hereafter known without any further consideration except where prohibited by law.

D. Eligibility: This Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are twenty-one (21) years of age or older at time of entry and have Internet access prior to October 1, 2006. Employees of Sponsors, Mass Transmit, Peersuasion and all of their immediate family members and those living in their households are not eligible to participate. All federal, state, provincial, municipal and local laws and regulations apply. Void outside the 50 United States and the District of Columbia and where prohibited by law.

E. General Conditions: In the event of a dispute as to who submitted an e-mail entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the holder of the e-mail account. All entries become the property of the Sponsors and will not be acknowledged and none will be returned. By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsors, which shall be final and binding in all matters pertaining to the Sweepstakes. The Sponsors and their agencies, officers, directors, agents, and employees are not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (1) garbled, illegible, incomplete, damaged, misdirected, stolen, late, lost or failed electronic entries; (2) telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, internet or computer malfunctions, failures or difficulties of any kind including any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in or downloading any materials in the Sweepstakes; (3) errors or delays in transmission; (4) any condition caused by events beyond the control of the Sponsors which may cause the Sweepstakes to be disrupted or corrupted; (5) any losses or damages of any kind caused by the prize or resulting from acceptance or use of the prize, or from participation in the Sweepstakes, or (6) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Sweepstakes. The Sponsors may prohibit you from participating in the Sweepstakes if, at its sole discretion, you repeatedly show a disregard for the Sweepstakes Official Rules, or act: (a) in a manner they determine to be not fair or equitable including the use of automated processes or devices not valid for entry; (b) with an intent to annoy, threaten or harass any other entrant or the Sponsors; or (c) in any other disruptive manner. CAUTION: ANY ATEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSORS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO PROSECUTE ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
